I'm kinda irritated that theres really no middle ground. you either buy OE wheels or XXRs for dirst ass cheap, OR your fork out $3500 on the light side of the custom world.

Thanks man . Feeling great . Saw the doc last week he says I’m healthy and unless I need him for something no other check ups needed .

My inner door handle started coming apart the other day . The pin that holds the lever with the gear on the back side must have been walking down for the last atleast 10 years . So I went to get out and the handle was sort of just stuck out of its rest position . Re set the lever and re installed the pin yesterday . Put the panel back on last night .

my cobra driver seat started life with 60k on it . Then I of course use the car a lot . The suede was starting to show its age and shed . Cobra forums suggest shaving it with a razor . So I gently used a razor blade and gave it a hair cut. Next is toclean it with a 50/50 woolite water mix . It isn’t perfect but it’s better .
Finally today I did the first oil change

Of all the “ Never ending build threads” I’m always glad that yours continues...it’s always a good thing to see that the good ( work on your own sht) triumphs over the evil ( pay to have it done) versions of the same topic.

You go one lung.

Went to a small cars and coffee yesterday with a bunch of friends and my girl , grabbed lunch after, headed to dinner at her grandmothers after all that. Moral of the story ? Another 130 plus miles cruising yesterday . Pulling tank this week and getting it all setup for the new stuff . I didn’t take any pics when we actually got there . But most of the line up where we met up to go is in these pics. Nice little cruise .

Me too. Make a sign that says "I have the virus". When stopped by the cops hold the sign up in your window. You will be waived on. Sounds like a win to me.

Straps should be here weds . Then I can bend them up because that one isn’t even close . Then I can get the pump mocked up to have a bracket welded on then off to powder coat

Straps came . Bent them up . Drilled the holes wrong the first time . Re drilled . Marked where the bracket plate needs to be welded on for pump and filters .

Fittings needed are all ordered .

Once the plate gets welded then it’s off to powder-coat then I can install it .

The tank will be Satin black , straps gloss black for some contrast .
