I will check them out later, I'm in the midst of pulling the 4L60E from the Silverado my FIL gave me (it lost 3-4 a week later LOL) so I can tear it down and rebuild it. Have to get it out so I can move the truck out of my shop so I can get my Mustang into the shop so I can replace the cracked intake, and go ahead and do water pump, hoses, tensioner, belt etc.

I should have never clicked on "What's new".... hats off to you. I've prepped and painted my share of cars / trucks over the years. When people gripe about the cost of a DECENT paint job, I might point them to this thread and tell them "This is a 12 on a scale of 1-10. If you were paying him only $10 an hour labor, you'd have over $5K just in labor, not counting sandpaper, primer, etc etc."

The time for products to shrink and cure is another issue entirely. "The paint shop has had my car for 6 months, they primed it and it's just sitting in the corner of their shop!"

I say that Youtube and the popularity of car restoration / build shows over the years ruined reality for people who have never done or been around this kind of work. If there was a TV show with only some edits and it documented an actual restoration / prep / body work and paint? It would 5 seasons long before the car ever got straight and in primer ready for color LMAO.

The 85 is done in the paint shop and moved over to assembly/clean shop where the progress will continue.

Oh finally getting going on the Saleen? I've been looking forward to seeing updates on that one.

Tossed a couple more wheels on. Ignore the stance and where the wheels stick out. This is all mock up junk suspension under the car now. But Im liking the wheels on this car so probably going to go with them.

The polished lip makes it for the red paint. Shiny wheels are my top pick for red cars. If I had your skills, the centers would trim color.

You would be my hero. What's your drink of choice - bourbon? Vodka? Tequila? I'm buying.
There just aren't many CO cars period and seeing different wheels on them is hard to find without biting the bullet and trying them out.

They are made to order so, give a couple weeks lead time and don't wait until the last minute for your project.
