Are you wearing those gloves because you’re being a good Covid19 compliant citizen, or are you just ashamed of your nails In need of a manicure?
Some pampering is needed these days . I try to wear gloves as much as i can though for real . No need to have nasty hands all the time when you can accomplish most things with the glove on . Sometimes you need to go raw to get the right touch though if ya know what i mean ;)

Wait wut ?

This weeks project . My right headlight is delaminating . I have a full spare set from the originals I had installed . Way back I had an accident and the side marker got broken which prompted me to buy a new set when they still made them . Fast forward I found another right side set alone and bought it to have a complete set of headlights again . Set number 2 started to have moisture in the light . So it ate the chrome inside .

So i swapped it for another that had a slight lamination issue. Over the last 2-3 years it’s gotten worse . So I decided to take my original lenses in the box . Use the back housing from set one and the mint lense from set 2 to make a perfect pass headlight again . All without having to remove right side number 3 I found on eBay by itself with the corner marker years ago.
Pic of the one that’s on the car .

I scraped all the sealer out of the cracks . Re sealed with Bead grey the right stuff . Hopefully we are moisture free .

7-9 minutes at 250 in the oven opens these up by the way.

one day I’d like to buy the smoked “ ultra clear “ lenses with no lines to do a retrofit but not a priority .

Those turned out great. I'm halfway through mine and the plastic is crazed. Otherwise I'd be tempted to go back and do it your way. I do like doing a thorough job.
